Biography[]

Early Life (1979〜1990)[]

Lyra's childhood

Little Lyra

Lyra was a winning and proud girl from an early age. She often picked fights with her siblings, so at first Draco was more attached to the gentle, kind-hearted Audrey than to Lyra. However, when his parents indoctrinated Audrey into Draco as a 'blood-traitor', he began to respect and adore Lyra. Lucius became disillusioned with his eldest daughter and therefore began to place greater expectations on his second daughter Lyra. And she was their pride and joy, as she was the very image of their parents' ideal girl. As a result, Lyra was always annoyed with Audrey, who befriended Muggles and rejected pure-bloodist, and argued with her.

Hogwarts Years (1990〜1997)[]

First Year[]

Lyra started at Hogwarts a year earlier than Draco. She was immediately sorted into Slytherin House, as is her family tradition. Lyra quickly became a central figure in Slytherin because she was the daughter of the prestigious Malfoy family and also because of her beautiful looks. She had a group of Slytherin cronies in tow, cursing and harassing Muggle-born students. This caught the ear of Audrey, the prefect of Ravenclaw, who scolded her sister, but Lyra did not listen and their relationship deteriorated further.

Second Year[]

When Lyra was in her second year, her younger brother Draco joined the school. Among the new students were Harry Potter, the famous "The boy who lived", Ron and Poppy Weasley and Hermione Granger too. Even in Slytherin, there was a lot of talk about "The boy who lived," but when Harry was finally sorted into Gryffindor, Lyra was not amused. Besides, when Lyra heard that Harry had turned down Draco's offer of friendship, she went to insult him, but he didn't care. Pissed off, Lyra angrily said a cruel throwaway line to Harry and left. And already from this moment on, a deep and never-ending rift developed between the Malfoy siblings and Harry Potter. She suggested to Draco that he lure Harry to the trophy room at night with a fake dueling appointment in an attempt to trick him into taking the penalty.
