Astra Capella Black (b. 27 April, 1983) was a half-blood witch and youngest daughter of Regulus and Athene Black. She attended Hogwarts from 1994 to 2001 along with her fraternal twin Astyanax. She tried out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team in her second year, winning the position of Keeper and was appointed Quidditch Captain in 1996, becoming one of the fastest appointed captain in Hogwarts' history.

Etymology

• Her middle name 'Capella' is the name of the brightest star in the constellation Auriga. A name reflecting the tradition of the Black family when it comes to naming their children after stars or constellations.
• The name 'Astra' in Greek means star, while in Latin the meaning of the name comes from astralis which means from the stars.
